The Creek Nation Council House offers several community activities throughout the year. These activities range from cultural speakers to make and takes. Planning a School Field Trip?

The Council House has a wide variety of post tour activities. If you are planning to bring students to the museum for a field trip, please chose from the activities below.

NOTE***We have separated the activities by age group based on the difficulty level.

4-6 years old

Museum Etiquette

We ask that each individual who visits our museum read over our Museum Etiquette guide. The Creek Nation Council House reserves the right to refuse visitors if they are found violating the rules.  Following our museum etiquette guide helps ensure that all visitors will have a meaningful experience while at our museum.

1. Eating and Drinking

The Creek Nation Council House prohibits eating and drinking in the museums gallery. 

2. Horseplay

Running, shoving, pushing and other physical activity is prohibited while touring the Council House

3. Noise

As a respect to other visitors, please avoid making loud noises by talking or laughing, singing, whistling, etc.  Try to use your indoor voice when visiting the museum. 

4. Tobacco

The use of tobacco is prohibited in museums.  If you do have to smoke, please plan on leaving the building.  Smoke deposits can damage museum pieces.

5. Pets

Pets are not allowed in museums.
